SCC – Holistic Health Care & Medical Services

SCC is pursuing investments in healthcare on two strategic fronts, healthcare provision as well as healthcare management and consultancy. There is significant opportunity in health care delivery across Egypt & MENA region, where Alternative Medicine Clinics (AMC) is enabling high quality end-to-end healthcare services representing a viable and replicable business model. SCC is working to establish quality healthcare offerings all over the region.

Thinking regionally, we seek to support innovative healthcare providers that can address the burgeoning unmet demand for quality care, whether in partnership or management consultancy.

Demand for reliable quality care is accelerating worldwide and SCC investment strategists seek ways to support best-in-class solutions in EGYPT and UAE and the Region.

About Holistic Healthcare clinics

There are many and varied health issues we can suffer from, on top of this, our responses to these may also be different. It therefore makes sense for a variety of therapies to be available, as different disciplines have different approaches to a presenting issue.

With Osteopathy, Acupuncture, Sports Therapy and Physiotherapy all available under one roof, it not only allows a multidisciplinary approach to healthcare but also access to a wealth of knowledge and expertise. As each patient is an individual, they should be viewed as so with the concept that many different factors can affect how we suffer from illness and injury, as well as how we recover from these. This is considered a holistic approach, with the whole patient being viewed as opposed to their individual parts.

Many of the therapists also offer massage as part of the treatment, which is effective for many conditions such as muscle strains, sports injuries, whiplash, postural issues and has even been shown to help with depression and anxiety. The technique involves manual manipulation of the muscles, tendons and ligaments of the body.

Once a patient has been carefully assessed, the most appropriate combination of therapies can be selected by the clinician and adapted as the patient progresses through their treatment. Patient progression is backed by the genuine concerns and skills of the clinician, coupled with patient motivation to return to optimal health, will mean that treatment will be a positive, proactive experience.
